Many businesses and community organisations find it hugely useful to have a trained and experienced outsider to help at times of crisis, decision or dispute. My combination of experience in building organisations, chairing meetings, conflict resolution and counselling might make me the right person to help your team through a special challenge or with processes of policy development or strategic planning.
We can come to a tailor-made agreement on ways that my skills might be used to help. This may either be on the initiative of the individual or arranged by the organisation, but it is always confidential to the individual.
Organisational mentoring is usually for people who feel a bit out of their depth in the organisation.
Coaching is for people who are eager to get ahead.
Organisational supervision is NOT about telling you what to do. It is about bringing another pair of eyes to look at things from the perspective of greater distance. It is for responsible people in positions of influence who to wish to process the stresses of work and life, who want a confidential sounding board, and who wish to be prodded to look at things from new angles.
I offer workshops especially designed for your situation, often in collaboration with a colleague—in many cases my partner, Rangimoana Taylor, an internationally known actor, teacher and storyteller. These workshops may be helpful either for reasons of general training and education, or in response to some special difficulties that have arisen, such as a bereavement or the emergence of prejudice in the organisation. Some examples are:

Issues of suicide and its aftermath
